Both Names Required

If both names are required, this should be stated as part of the question – not the answer.

I shouldn't have to spell this out, but ... suppose the first team gives the surname, only to be told that the first name is required as well, but doesn't know the first name. Now suppose the second team didn't have a clue as to who was being referred to, until they heard the first team's answer. They now have a clue, and may be able to come up with the full name. If the first team had known that the first name was required, but couldn't give it, they probably would have passed without giving any answer.
